I voted the same way Drew. The second she found out I was melting at the mouth for her to tell Grant.

I always liked Sarah, I'm glad you might be coming around :)

I loved Donna putting Rachel in her place too. It was such a great turn-around. I love scenes where one bitch thinks she's got a handle on everything and then BOOM, one little remark from the other bitch turns things right around. I don't not like Rachel or anything, but Donna is a huge favorite of mine so anytime she wins I'm happy.

I don't know how I feel about Jamie/Lorna together. I do know I want a Marley/Grant/Lila triangle though.

Yeah, I know we've disagreed about Sarah for a while now. So when I read this episode, and actually liked her, I thought of you. LOL!

By the way, um, where's your comment on today's episode of As Days Go By, hmm???

It's Thanksgiving in Bay City!

The short scenes were a nice change of pace from what we're used to in the episodes. I liked it, but only for these special themed episodes will they work.

I loved the last scene with Matt leading everyone in the toasts to those that are no longer living. That would've been special to see played out in real life.

Jamie raped Cecile?!

I don't remember Allie saying any of the stuff Sarah's accusing her of saying. What's this bitch up to? :hmmph:

Charlie's reaction to hearing Cass and Frankie's plans to adopt Lori Ann was very natural. Her parents are reunited and she has both of them in her life together for the first time in years. She probably feels that she deserves to enjoy that, not have some baby come into the picture and take the joint-attention she wants from both of her parents.

Cecile is such a bitch. I want someone to slap that smug look off her face and I can't even see her, LOL! I'm just imagining it though. I voted no for Jamie to drug Frankie. It would totally ruin his character, no matter how desperate he is to keep the truth about his past a secret.

I like Grant and Lila, but not as romantic partners. I think they work better as friends that look out for each other. Partners in crime. I don't want to see them together though.

I love Gregory and Allie! Gregory makes me like Allie more. She's less annoying with him than she is with GQ. I wonder if Gregory is going to step up to the plate and claim he's the father of Allie's baby.

I loved Felicia and Lorna's scenes. It was very natural for Lorna to feel looked over in favor of Cass and Frankie. And I'm so glad she brought up their not-so-clean pasts and said they don't seem like fit parents either.

Drew, who did you vote for as Cecile's murderer?

Jamie never raped Cecile. That sort of ruined the whole thing for me.

Jamie actually did rape Cecile. In 1981, during their short marriage he forced her to have sex while he was doped up on drugs. She never really told anyone but we did see it on screen. The episode re-aired on that P&G classic soap channel a few years ago.

I would have to see it to believe it. Do you know if that clip is online? I've read very detailed recaps for the whole time and if anything she raped him!

I don't know if the clip is online, but if I remember correctly it happened early May 81. They had a big fight then he forced himself on her. He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs not long after that to.

I voted for Cass. No one else really made sense.

I bet Jamie and Cecile's "rape incident" is like Paul and Christine's from Y&R. Rough sex that could be questioned, especially by a manipulative Cecile.

It's been a while since anyone's commented in this thread. Anyone still reading? It's so good! Today's episode, no different.

I love the way Rick and Mindy Bauer have crossed over to Bay City with the anticipation of adopting Allie's baby. And I love that Allie is forcing them to name the baby Hudson. Hudson Bauer is a great name. And what a coincidence that his initials will be HB, after Mindy's grandfather. Love it!

I'm starting to like the idea of Grant and Marley. At first, I was against it, but this potential pairing is going very slow, which makes it believable. Feelings are given the chance to change and they are, so naturally. I'm quickly becoming a fan with each scene they share.

I loved the Felicia and Carl scenes. I'm glad she let him see pictures of Lori Ann, but quickly warned him that he won't be a part of her life. Very understandable. On a side note, I didn't know that Carl raised Lorna. That makes their relationship when she became an adult kind of sadistic. But then again, it's always had that feeling even when I didn't know the facts.

I'm not really liking Kevin's daughter, Jennifer. She's fairly new though, so maybe she'll grow on me.

Loved loved loved the Kevin and Amanda scene. They are a favorite couple of mine, even if they aren't together right now. So it comes as no surprise that I voted that Kevin belongs with Amanda, rather than Lila. However, Lila is a nice roadblock for the two, and sets up for an Amanda and Lila rivlary that I could see being entertaining, given Lila's fondness of Rachel and hers of Lila.
